Sderot – MDA teams treated since Tuesday, May 15, 2007 124 casualties, most of them suffering from anxiety attacks,
MDA teams have been dispatched to more than 100 events
On Monday, May 21, 2007, three Kassam Missiles hits opened the seventh day's events for MDA teams in Sderot and their day only began. Two kassam missiles landed in Kibbutz Shar HaNegev and the third at the entrance of Ashkelon. Last night too was hectic for MDA personnel. A Kassam missile hit Kibbutz Nir-Am garage, no one was hurt, only damages.

On Monday 11 May 2007, Magen David Adom Director General Eli Bin held an estimate of the situation meeting with the participation of Headquarters and regional directors.
Magen David Adom Director General Eli Bin, considering the working conditions of MDA personnel, workers & volunteers as one – has instructed during the estimate of the situation meeting on Sunday, May 20, 2007, to erect an air conditioned tent outside MDA Sderot to be used as a dining room area; to install exterior lighting at MDA Sderot; to install showers & chemical water closets at MDA Sderot & check the necessity at MDA Ashkelon and Tsohar; to check the capacity of MDA Sderot in electricity use & should the need arise provide an adequate generator; to transfer, or rent, tables & chairs to MDA Sderot & Ashkelon; to reinforce the maintenance (cleaning) hours of all MDA personnel reinforced stations; to get logistically ready for more reinforcement personnel, workers & volunteers, in the coming days; to provide a safety room to MDA Sderot station (in addition to the already existing shelter) – URGENT, to provide catering to all personnel, workers & volunteers as one.
Magen David Adom Directly General, Eli Bin has confirmed the presence of 100 fully operational & fully manned standard ambulances, 15 MICUs and 4 Mobile Casualty Response Vehicles and 3 service vehicles to transfer anxiety ridden persons to the relevant medical centers.
